I’ve been trying to get my wedding photography in front of more couples, and earlier this year, I struck gold with The Catholic Bridal Collective. They rallied vendors across Northern Virginia for the Cana Wedding Expo—the first-ever show just for Catholic wedding pros—and I leapt at the chance! Here’s a quick shot of my booth from that day in Manassas.
The expo provided us up with tables, linens (I’m pretty sure I put mine on backwards—oops!), and power outlets. It ran from 1pm to 4pm, and I got to chat with some lovely couples. Check out my display below!
Left to right: paper giclée prints, a 15″ digital frame, an 11×14″ giclée metal print, and more prints. Center stage? A massive 15×10″ album packed with my best work over the years. The collapsible vertical banner was the coolest thing—I’m so happy with how it turned out! Big thanks to Miller’s Lab, my favorite print shop, for nailing the prints, albums, and the amazing banner.
The event was beautiful—rubbing shoulders with numerous Catholic wedding vendors from the Arlington Diocese and Northern Virginia. I finally met folks I’d followed on social media, plus new vendors I hadn’t yet met. It felt like joining a big, creative, supportive family.
Here’s who else made the Cana Wedding Expo amazing—check them out:
This expo was a blast and a huge step for me as a wedding photographer. Loved connecting with couples and vendors who are planning their own Catholic wedding. Planning your own big day in Virginia? Send me message—let’s make your photos unforgettable!
